Playing Well
Starts Here
At Jesters Casinos, your wellbeing comes before the game.
We're committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and transparent gaming environment across all of our venues — in Tallaght, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin City, and Wexford. Responsible gaming isn't a footnote for us; it's woven into everything we do.
Tools to Keep You
in Control
We want every visit to Jesters Casinos to be enjoyable and within your comfort zone. That's why we offer a range of practical player safety tools across all our venues.
Self-Exclusion — Request to be excluded from one or all Irish Casino Group venues for a set period, from weeks to years. Speak to any member of staff or contact us directly.
Play & Time Limits — Ask our team to help you set limits on how long you play or how much you spend in a session. We'll honour these boundaries without question.
Cooling-Off Periods — Take a short break from visiting our venues. A cooling-off period can be activated quickly at the venue or by contacting our responsible gaming team.
Voluntary Self-Restriction — Restrict access to specific games or gaming areas at any of our locations to keep your experience aligned with your preferences.
All tools are available at no cost and can be set up discreetly by speaking to a team member at reception or by contacting us via the details on our Contact page.
Know when to pause.
Recognising the Signs
Gambling should always be a form of entertainment, not a source of stress or financial pressure. Here are some signs that it may be time to take a step back — and there's no shame in doing so.
- Spending more time or money than you intended
- Chasing losses or gambling to recover what you've spent
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or secretive about your gambling
- Gambling impacting your sleep, work, or relationships
- Borrowing money or neglecting bills to fund play
If any of these feel familiar — whether for yourself or someone you care about — our staff are trained to help, and a range of confidential supports are available. You don't have to wait until things feel serious to reach out.

Our Team Is Here for You
Every member of staff at Jesters Casinos are trained to recognise the signs of problem gambling and to respond with care, discretion, and professionalism. We take our duty of care seriously.
Our training programme covers identifying behavioural warning signs, how to approach sensitive conversations without judgement, and how to connect customers with the right support resources quickly and confidentially. Training is refreshed regularly and forms part of every new staff induction.
We also maintain a responsible gaming register, ensure all our venues display support information prominently, and appoint a dedicated Responsible Gaming contact at each location who is available during all opening hours.
Common Questions
Here are answers to some of the questions we're most often asked about responsible gaming, self-exclusion, and how friends and family members can get help.
How do I self-exclude from Irish Casino Group venues?
You can request self-exclusion by speaking to any member of staff at your nearest venue or by completing the form above. We'll process your request confidentially and promptly. You can choose to exclude from one venue or all Jesters Casino locations, and for any duration from one month upwards.
Can I set a limit on how much I spend?
Yes. Speak to a member of our team at any venue and we'll help you establish a spend or time limit for your sessions. These limits are logged and respected by all staff.
What happens during a cooling-off period?
A cooling-off period means you temporarily step back from visiting one or more of our venues. You can request one for a set number of days or weeks. During this time, your access to the relevant venue(s) is paused and staff are notified.
I'm worried about a friend or family member. What can I do?
It's a positive and caring step to seek guidance on behalf of someone else. You can contact us confidentially to discuss the situation, and we can advise you on how to support them or connect them with professional help. Organisations like Gamblers Anonymous Ireland and Gambling Care Ireland also offer family support services.
Is my information kept private if I request support?
Absolutely. All responsible gaming requests, self-exclusions, and conversations with our team are handled in strict confidence and in line with data protection regulations.
Where can I find more information about responsible gaming regulations in Ireland?
The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) oversees gambling regulation in the Republic of Ireland and publishes guidance for players. You can visit www.grai.ie for official information.
If you have a question that isn't covered here, please don't hesitate to reach out — our team is always happy to help.
